This 5-piece complete set for installing cup hinges makes furniture-making projects successful. The set contains two drilling templates, a Ø 26 mm Forstner drill bit, a Ø 2.5 mm self-centring hinge drill bit and a Ø 5 mm wood twist drill bit. In just a few steps, all drill hole positions can be correctly determined, centred, pilot drilled and drilled, and the hinge can subsequently be screwed in place with high accuracy.
The two drilling templates with the integrated stop can easily be clamped between the door and the body, and help you to align these elements parallel to each other. Thanks to the designations in the template, you are also guaranteed to determine the correct markings and drilling positions for installing your Ø 26 mm cup hinges at the correct distance from the outer edge.
With the included self-centring hinge drill bit (Ø 2.5 mm) and the Forstner drill bit, you can drill a hole of the correct size for the cup of the hinge. The tool enables guided vertical drilling to a restricted depth. For subsequent clean and splinter-free installation of the screws, drill a pilot hole at the screw hole positions with the wood drill bit (Ø 5 mm).
